Penerapan Metode Card Sort untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Fiqih di Pondok Pesantren Darel Hasan

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Card Sort method, the teacher's efforts to optimize it, and the factors causing its implementation to be less than optimal in Fiqh learning at Pondok Pesantren Darel Hasan. A qualitative descriptive approach was used. Primary data sources were the Fiqh teacher, students, and the pesantren leader, while secondary data were supporting documents. Data were collected through non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with validity examined through triangulation and persistent observation. The results show that the method was implemented through planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. The teacher's efforts included selecting suitable material, preparing simple card media, giving clear instructions, guiding discussions, connecting material to practice, and providing reinforcement and evaluation, which improved students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning outcomes. Its implementation was not yet optimal due to internal and external factors.
